Ministries at Greater Gethsemane
Youth Volunteer
Helps young people develop a strong moral foundation and make informed decisions, develop a relationship with Christ and commit to their faith, to build relationships and become involved in their community.
Outreach Volunteer
Assist our efforts in reaching out to the local community, organizing events, and initiatives that spread the love of Christ beyond the church walls. To train believers to become disciples of Jesus Christ. The disciples are taught in a small group format facilitated by a mature disciple. The framework of Equipping, Empowering, and Envisioning, Presenting Jesus Christ to the world in the power of the Holy Spirit so that people shall come to put their trust in God and accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord. We are leading individuals to Jesus Christ and ministering the plan of salvation. We help new members become acclimated to our church and assist them through baptism and the Life Development Institute.
Doorkeepers Member
Serves as the official host of the church, greeting our guests with a smile and kind words as they enter the sanctuary, welcoming them during the worship service, and following up with visitors. Provides order to ensure a comfortable worship experience and provide for all needs during the service.
Facility Services Ministry
To adorn God’s house: to clean, accessorize, decorate, embellish, and beautify his house to bring God glory. During Services: overseeing entry points, patrolling the church grounds, enforcing safety measures during events and services, preparing emergency scripts, and drawing attention to exits.
